If book-burning didn't have such bad historical associations, you know they'd already be burning all the books they don't like. They only thing preventing that, for the moment, is the 'bad optics'.

Absolutely correct...there won't be burning of books, their solution will be far more elegant...through the use of blackmail, coercion, and fear, those books that they would love to burn will simply never be written.
