there aren't a lot of "metrics" in the first two tweets that I'm responding to... My point is simple: Is the goal *critique*—which, okay!—or is it destroying trust entirely? If the latter, I'm saying it's naive to think people won't end up trusting even worse institutions.

Every critique right now is necessary. It is symptomatic that more and more the total abandonment of these fields is talked. The continuity of the actual tendency is what will bring it's destruction. Anyone who is against a deep reform is just contributing to it's destruction.
