Within 10 years, will the Supreme Court decide that 'polyamorous vs. monogamous' is a legally protected dimension of 'sexual orientation' under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act?

Is there any good literature on the efficacy of polyamory? I'm so stuck in my bubble on this that it is hard to see it as anything but heathenry. Not trying to be inflammatory. I'm an open minded person but polyamory feels like an excuse to have your cake and eat it too.

In my class on alternative relationships, the syllabus reviews a bunch of the empirical papers on outcomes of monogamous vs. poly relationships: https://www.primalpoly.com/s/polyamory-syllabus-aug23.docx …

I appreciate it, Geoffrey. I downloaded it and will read. I've always thought I wanted that traditional family life and all that comes with it. But I've sabotaged so many relationships that came close due to boredom or the real fear that "it's just this person" forever.

I have a hard time grappling with the morality of it all. I've had arrangements where we knew what it was, and what it wasnt. And it made me feel empty. But the opposite (monogamy forever) doesnt feel realistic for me despite seeming noble and genuinely wanting it.

This is a dilemma facing many people, and it's the topic of my next book. There are no easy answers yet, but there's a lot of exploration about what works and what doesn't with alternative relationships.
