That's the logic... IF they are able to prepare for the tests, which are of a very specific format. Rich families pay for prep classes that others can't afford.

It is specifically for this reason that in the UK decades ago they used IQ tests widely to recognize talented individuals from lower social classes in order to provide them cheap education, benefitting both those individuals & nation as a whole. Sickening reversal taking place.

Really? They're going to do that no matter what. Standardized tests make it harder for kids from lower socioeconomic groups to even get access.
