Homeschooling question:
Which talented people did _much_ better in life because they were homeschooled than they probably would have if they'd gone to regular public or private school.

The question is in bad faith even if you want to extol the merits of homeschooling, because it is impossible to attribute anyone’s success to how they were schooled. There are way too many other variables.

I assumed as much! Upon further reflection I also find the question to be frustrating because it implies that homeschooling is a "fringe" educational model. Before I was able to attain some achievements traditionally viewed as "success" it also implied that I had failed, somehow.

In any event, my experience with homeschooling is that it's an outcome multiplier. In both directions.

Combination of private school, public school, home school, and drop-out here. Home school and self-education (before Univ level) was where I learned everything I retain. I currently have over 30 books to my credit, as well as a number of other colorful accomplishments.
