If you had video of the 5 worst times Geoffrey lost his temper in public maybe one would be audible with a normal microphone (the time he yelled at a woman who was speeding close to his daughter) and the rest would be unremarkable. He is unrelentingly agreeable.

Your question is a telling one. Losing your temper in public is a luxury that not everyone gets to enjoy. Some people can't afford to risk that. That is the point.

Factually they don’t because people dont follow the advice here but that doesn’t mean they *should* lose their job for that. Obviously, it depends on the context but the general idea that we should try to be more forgiving seems appropriate.
