Tough call for me. Documentary looks obvious but I suspect drama has more of an impact because the nudging is done ‘undercover’ when the defenses are down.

I’m not totally sure which of these has moved me the most. But agenda-driven, heavy-handed dramas which take themselves too seriously have moved me further from their apparent positions than anything else, so far as I’ve noticed.

Concur. But it's usually a context, well illustrated, and a narrative on how to navigate that context, that will create or expand the cracks. Documented facts are not as enticing as narrative.

Probably Historical Fiction. You get the halo of history plus the ability to set the agenda. Birth of a Nation alone is a powerful case in point here.
