I don't know why, but I love red mulch. And I even enjoy spreading it.
I can't speak to whether 'the world is healing'. But my backyard is about to get 9 cubic yards of red mulch, so that's a start.

Over the quarantine period I’ve read two great books that touch on nature and urbanism that I highly recommend others read: Darwin Comes to Town by Menno Schilthuizen, and Inheritors of the Earth by Chris Thomas.
