I agree it's a bubble, but saying "I went to Harvard" is saying more than just "I have a high IQ" It's something like, "I have a high IQ, am reliable, relatable, sociable, and am willing to play the elite game", etc.

Someone needs to start a one-year "degree" program with a 5% acceptance rate that just checks if you are "elite material" and moves on, no need to pretend we are trying to learn stuff
