No. My followers are not bought. I also don’t have anybody run my social media- it’s me. And I block trolls. So the following I do have are actually decent human beings who support me -OR- people who don’t agree with me and are capable of being civil.
Here's a odd thing. I've been following @BrandonStraka for at least a year. I'm often on Twitter. He has lots of followers. But I have _never_ seen a tweet from him show up in my thread.

I only follow about 170 people, but I won't see tweets from most of them unless I like or reply to their tweets, or they like or reply to my tweets. For that reason, I tend to like tweets a lot (including the one I'm replying to here).

Shadowbanning--a.k.a. throttling--has been noticeably ramped up the past couple of months. I've put all my "high risk" follow accounts into their own twitter list. After I read my regular feed--which I configured as chronological, not twitter's "magic" feature--I read that list.

Well you're following 3,000 people I'd imagine it might be hard to catch individual tweets. Though shadow banning wouldn't surprise me since its now something they've added to their policies.
