The American people get what they deserve. To "reboot" the media, you'd have to reboot the citizenry

How do you do that effectively? I appreciate twitter because over time I can build decent mental models of fair and balanced actors and trust their takes over others (I dont have time to be pouring over transcripts myself) .. but most people wont even take the time to do that.
