Not sure. Anorexia tends to be associated with OCD tendencies IIRC, which are kinda opposite to ADHD.
Anorexia is a middle class girls' disease. ADHD is a working class boys' disease. Look up Bristol work on common genetics in different social classes.
There's an interesting problem here, there is a great deal studies reporting ADHD-OCD comorbidity, but no sensible theory to account for it. There's a good chance that there's alot of misdiagnosis of OCD as ADHD, causing the confusion.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4495876/ …

Another potential scenario contributing to the correlation: a lot of people are misdiagnosed with ADHD -> now have access to an amphetamine prescription -> abuse said drugs to achieve and maintain extreme weight loss, thus revealing their anorexia in the data.
