If colleges eliminate valid tests of cognitive ability when admitting students, employers will soon start to discount college degrees as valid indicators of cognitive ability in hiring, & will go back to good old-fashioned IQ tests. Good luck maintaining enrollments after that.

I have a joke that employers will start treating college diplomas like high school diplomas and that a masters will be the thing that sets an applicant apart... for entry level jobs. Its sarcastic now, but sadly is becoming more real.

Exactly. Prestige has always mattered, but there are more “good” schools today than ever before. Kill standardized tests, and that number will revert back to Harvard and “everyone else.” What SJWs want — democratization of worth — will be undone.

Too late for that. Employers who still care about IQ have to use the college filter to launder away disparate impact liability. But fewer and fewer care. May be more important for them now to hire obedient groupthinkers, which college selects for marvelously.
