Similar age. Blown away by first Star Wars in 77’ then that crazy rolling boulder in Raiders of the Lost Ark three years later.
I first saw Star Wars (1977) opening weekend, right at the end of 6th grade. Last-minute decision. Hadn't seen trailer. Knew nothing at all about what to expect.
