21 million Americans now have Masters degrees. 5 million have PhDs.
Yet here we still are.

It isn't like we put a bunch of PhDs in charge and things went badly, exactly the opposite happened in the US. Also, who do you think is developing all of the tests, treatments, and vaccines that society now structurally depends on?

Those things never mean the same thing forever. Every time something becomes valuable, that thing is “produced” in larger scale and looses it’s value. Looses it’s value because there’s more of it, and because if more is “produced”, the overall “production” looses quality too.

Indeed. As soon as a product or service is rationalized to accrue maximum profits it is stripped of the essence which made it valuable initially.
