Is there any rational argument for 'the existence of God(s)' that couldn't also be used as an argument that 'we're living inside a Simulation'?

Doesn't it give you _any_ pause that 99+% of all the 'gods' that people have ever believed in, don't seem to exist? My Bayesian prior, based on that history, leans me towards agnosticism.

Sure. But that doesn’t change the fact that a god that exists is greater than a god that doesn’t. If you accept the definition of god as the greatest, then he must, by definition exist. And a god that doesn’t exist is just fiction.
