Is there any rational argument for 'the existence of God(s)' that couldn't also be used as an argument that 'we're living inside a Simulation'?

Capitalization is not the point. We can write everything in lower case if you prefer. The point is that consciousness is ontologically different from 'matter', which is after all just an appearance of something unknown, generated in our own consciousness.
