Is there any rational argument for 'the existence of God(s)' that couldn't also be used as an argument that 'we're living inside a Simulation'?

Because existing doesn’t really make the matrix a better matrix. But existence does make God more Godlike.
Most 'gods' that people have believe in throughout history haven't actually existed.
Therefore, to be the most god-like, any given 'god' should _not_ exist.
