Is there any rational argument for 'the existence of God(s)' that couldn't also be used as an argument that 'we're living inside a Simulation'?

perhaps it is. However, if we grant that God is perfect, and that hence he exists (as existence is one of the perfections), then we must as well assume that we do not live in a simulation, as this would be incompatible with a perfect being.

the point is that if we assume the ontological argument for God's existence works, then we must also hold that it is sufficient to prove that we do not live in a simulation

A) Is a simulation really deceit? Are characters in a video game really being lied to? B) C.S. Lewis has interesting answers to that, essentially the universe is uneven. Pareto is an example of that.

Paul promulgated "scripture" to no fewer than 12 distinct "cultures" with instructions that it was not exclusive to them.
