Most meat eaters myself included have always been uncomfortable with factory farming. There's a major supply chain disruption, and this allows people on all sides of other issues to work on solutions. What do we do instead? Fight over whether Trump told people to drink bleach.
Highly recommend the book 'The end of factory farming' by @jacyreese. It explores some good practical ways forward, in a non-partisan, rational, evidence-based way.
