So bio-energy fields are an invalid concept because some of the people who believe in them don't understand how energy is measured?
Not necessarily an invalid concept. I just like people to make a good-faith attempt to quantify whatever they're talking about. If they don't even try, it's hard to take them seriously.

Gotcha. I think some woo concepts have a mechanistic basis, but tend to be understood intuitively. So that some people can't explain their intuitive beliefs doesn't necessarily invalidate them.
