I've got nothing against poly party camps that are clearly labelled as such, and that are cost-efficient for that purpose.

That’s crazy talk, man. What if higher ed is more profitable as a poly lifestyle party camp? What would you say then? Hmmm? Pursuit of truth & beauty doesn’t pay as well as party camp. Letting 18yo libidos/psyches drive what higher ed looks like might, just might, be a mistake.
