By the pandemic? Try decades. All indices and prices eventually arrive at the exact point the money masters and manipulators want them to arrive at. Been that way since 1971 at least.

But that's never been the case, though many people will tell you that. A lot more about consumer confidence = willingness to invest. It's legal gambling really. You can have a good economy and potentially have low investment (rare) and you also have the reverse (like 08).
