The pandemic has already cost universities millions of dollars. As they consider the possibility of remote classes into the fall, they’re worried about losing students, too.
Perhaps this will be an opportunity to get rid of faculty tenure as well...

If you get rid of faculty tenure, it would take about 6 months flat for universities to purge anybody like me who questions the reigning PC/SJW orthodoxy. Then you have no brakes at all on the runaway ideological/political indoctrination of youth. Good luck with that.

True. It's been happening for decades. But until there are alt-university start-ups that offer viable credentials, it seems imprudent to give up on existing institutions entirely.
