We need to bring the word "depression" back, because that's what coronavirus is going to cause. "recession" will not describe it.

Many recessions see big runups in debt before and a lot of deleveraging after, but this one doesn't seem to be particularly about deleveraging. The case for Great Recession and deleveraging is better imo.

agree 2009 was "Great Recession and Financial Crisis" if COVID recession is 2x as deep, "recession" isn't going to cut it
