Great piece. How open do you think psychology is to polyamory – both the clinical and research sides? I've long had the sense that many (?) clinicians are uncomfortable with poly. (Kink, too.) Maybe we're married to monogamy b/c it's what we understand. What's your observation?
Many clinicians get zero training about alternative relationship patterns such as polyamory, and show strong stigma & prejudice against poly clients.
