Instinctively, I feel less safe as it’s a visual cue that something is “wrong”. Rationally, I feel slightly more safe.

I feel more safe because it seems everyone is adhering to the basic rules that seem to be necessary. In the beginning there were many people still joking about the situation...WELL, THEY'RE NOT JOKING NOW!!11

my gut level response is that person must be a trust funder whose lack of need to work is causing odd levels of neuroticism.
