Why are they so opposed to factoring in genetic data? Most geneticists I read seem like decent human beings without insidious motivations and are driven by a pursuit for knowledge. Is it genetic determinism that they’re worried about? I feel like I’m missing something..

If sociologists incorporated genetic data, they wouldn't be sociologists any more. They'd be exiled from their field. It's a political thing.
