This is fascinating: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm … After shutdowns, the US saved some 50k non-COVID deaths that were expected. So lockdown saves 10s of thousands of lives/mo unrelated to COVID. Why don't we do this all the time?

I think more experts and politicians need to be willing to say, "I don't know" - because the evidence is pretty great that even the experts have no effing clue what to expect.
