https://www.brunel.ac.uk/research/Centres/Centre-for-Culture-and-Evolution … I studied evolutionary psychology for a year in the UK without a GRE type test and found the education much more focused on actual learning than hopping through standardized tests (compared to UT Austin undergrad). Education in Germany is free without GRE.

Do they care? As long as you pay them for the degree they wouldn't care if you burned it after you got it unless it was bad for their image.

I’m surprised you’d say GRE scores are reliable and valid when colleges never accepted low scores, effectively preventing a comparison of efficacy to even be made. More grad schools are focusing on research experience and rec letters, and for good reason.

The General GRE is essentially a knowledge test, a majority of which has very little practicality for grad school. If they replaced the GRE with an IQ test, our best success predictor (but still not great), they’d be better off.
