Need recommendations for electronic dance music that's medium/high energy but minimal lyrics, as background music for writing.

Try this out: https://youtu.be/bDLeJw8euhY  I've written so many scripts to it. (It also doubles as a great dance party mix 😁)

Never heard of someone writing to electronic dance! I wonder if chosen genre impacts writing style/pace, or vice versa... 🤔

I just assumed that everyone could tell I wrote 'The Mating Mind' while listening mostly to The Prodigy and Massive Attack back in the late 90s....

Not electronic (quite the opposite) but inspiring as hell and probably what you are looking for, try Mike Oldfield's Ommadawn and other instrumental albums (go for the ones that are just one single track). I use it while painting.

My go to piece is JSB's Brandenburg Concerto N. 5. You'll be staring at a blank screen "oh woe is me, oh woe is me" and then - by magic - find yourself pounding the keys like that monkey in the famous meme. Happens every time, even if you know and try to resist.
