That was fun. Any ethical position inevitably becomes self contradictory, which can make for fun discussions. I'm evolved to be a social animal that believes ethics are real, but I'm also evolved to notice that ethics are a human construct, and are mostly used as politics.
So glad you did this podcast. The entitled nature & lack of reflection by most of the main players is astounding. Antle being my least favourite & most concerning; his use of big cats & related 'tribal' belonging, to create a trauma bond; essential to controlling/abusive rships.
Only saw first ep. Thought occurred to me: "Joe Exotic's nemesis ALSO keeps tigers in cages. How is she morally superior?" Can you correct this likely short-sighted take, which I'm sure occurred to many others?
