how would it help him Geoffrey if he's totally off let's suppose, and a LOT of people will die. I don't see how this is good for his campaign or politics or whatever. Just wondering

A fully rational politician would take into account the likelihood that a pandemic that rebounds in spring and lasts all summer would be bad for re-election. Granted.

Funny, I'm starting to be concerned that a lot of people are more concerned about Trump's increasing popularity than the COVID-19 crisis.

Little do they know, that it will now be increasingly difficult to do anything about either of those threats, because the situation has progressed so far already.

Everything the Democratic Party says or does is to advance its electoral ambitions, so I've no idea why you set a different standard for Trump.

TBH I'm starting to get a teeny bit concerned that the left, in all its forms and functions, is far more concerned about the election than our health, welfare, economic strength, societal structure or happiness. Oddly, it seems to kill mostly men. Old men. Wonder what % white?

To be fair, I believe both sides are more concerned about the election than public health.

Meh this whole "sides" thing is silly. If you assess ANY group of humans, a few bad apples will always spoil the bunch. There're shitters in religion, politics, this group and that group. No exceptions. It seems like assessing individuals might be the way to go

I’m pretty damned concerned about the election too. Like Trump said - relax we can do two things at once.
