Which philosophers are doing the best work on evolutionary psychology right now -- aware of the importance of an evolutionary approach to the mind yet critical of specific programmes under the EP banner?
Can't think of any philosophers who are good but critical of EP.

Not of EP as an approach to the mind (it's the only way to think of biological systems), but of particular EP programmes and theories. There's been bad EP theorizing as well as good.

Yep. In principle, such philosophers could exist. In practice, most smart people who support EP in general, but who are critical of particular EP research programs, are evolutionary psychologists, not philosophers.
