I’m not trying to be provocative or callous. If the vulnerable population isolate themselves, how will they be at risk? I may be a little slow, or missing something important, but I’m genuinely wondering this.

since it's so hard to completely isolate, the vulnerable stand to benefit disproportionately from there being many fewer asymptomatic/presymptomatic contacts among those they cannot completely eliminate
