We were told 15 days. Most people can do that. We’re halfway through. But we need some assurance that it will end on the 15th day. “15 days but it might be 3 months” is not a workable plan. If it is going to be longer, we need to know how much longer and what the end game is.

Can’t be done without catastrophic effects. After the 15 days quarantine only the people most at risk. Stop all visits to retirement homes. Special hours for seniors to shop as they are currently doing in many areas.

The problem is that no one really knows the truth of what the future holds. With viable treatments coming on line, 15 days seems reasonable. The millions of lives that could be lost due to economic collapse must be taken into consideration. Tricky balancing act.

I’m fine with a governor saying something like ‘please stay home in service to your country.’ Id have no issue. Some have pushed it a bit far for me. If it was preceded by something that sounded like ‘I’m begging you’ & the reason was ‘for your neighbors,’ let’s do it!
