Imagine if governmentt just left that 6 trillion circulating in the hands of the people instead of taking it from them to spend in their 'best interest.'

No point in looking at things that could have been done differently. All we can do is look forward

not to nit-pick, but there is some point in looking at what could have been done differently. it makes knowing what not to do in the future more obvious. but overall, agree that it can be easy to spend too much energy ruminating on mistakes instead of fixing them.

Between 2010 and 2017, Canada spent ~$36B on renewable energy supply. Non-hydro renewables account for ~7% of electricity supply and ~0% of energy used for transportation. Imagine if that money had been spent on health care and pandemic preparation.

Been preaching that for years. No civil defense exist in the USA. No stock piles for civilians. No training for civilians to be called into service in case of an emergency. No designated shelters, with supplies on site. Pretty straight forward. Rotate expiring to needy.
