Not to downplay coronavirus, but the 2009 swine flu epidemic infected 61 million Americans, killed over 12,000 and I don't recall anywhere near this level of hysteria.

Dude. With all due respect please read his tweet in which he referred to the US only.

It's just starting in the USA...How can we make a judgment on it? The point was that Italy is 1-2 weeks ahead of us and look what is happening.

Italy is also practicing strategic medical care...

That's the swine flu played out completely when it started we had no idea what it would be just like w this and we still dont. So we cant assume either way but hedge bets to protect the public.

However in the beginning of swine flu which was no joke when we had no idea of the long term outcome he is right in saying we did not come close to this. Does that mean we are being lied to ? It sure would be nice to know.

The problem, which many are underestimating, is that this disease is very contagious and requires hospital cares for a percentage of people. At some point the beds will be lacking..believe me,we ITs initially underestimated it and now the health system is suffering.take care guys
