Yes, because we don't live in some sort of pandemic-ridden apocalypse, we are not prepared for one. China had to rapidly build hospitals because they weren't prepared. Do you know of any place on earth that was prepared?

For decades, experts have been predicting that this sort of global pandemic would happen sooner or later. Some countries took their warnings more seriously than other countries did. None were fully prepared. We shouldn't be making excuses for our collective idiocy.

Where I live, you can call a nurse-staffed health hotline (811), and if you are symptomatic and at risk, a nurse comes to your house and tests you for free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
