How big a deal is a 20% drop in the stock market in 2 weeks? Even by the narrowest economic criteria, it seems kinda salient.

Yes, regardless of how it plays out in the rest of the world, some will judge Trump by it. One might think that he'd be judged only if it plays out differently in the U.S to the rest of the world. One would be naive and ignorant of reality to think that.

People will even go so far as to judge capitalism for it, even though the culprit for its spread is China. Its so easy to predict responses to people who have only one underlying principle. Or, I could be wrong. We'll know soon enough.
