The fact a species-level event such as the Wuhan virus is facing us and we still cannot unite together against it says a lot about where we are right now
If we want folks to unite, maybe it's time to reduce partisanship & put the culture war on 'pause' for a few weeks? Both sides should try....

One side is already trying! Stop being silly. It doesn't matter how conciliatory you are with somebody who is dead set on hurting you, even if it burns the whole house down. That's the Left. I say ignore anybody who's inciting panic. At least don't join in!
