It has to. People that said no must not realize how well China is handling the spread of the Corona-virus.

If the United States could make a governmental measure that could be acted upon in response to a virus, which only could be activated if a deadly virus exists, would be a good measure for our country to have.

It’s reinforced my view that Singapore is the only model for 21st century governance.

Not scalable. Singapore system works because they only have 5.5 million people. They do not have natural resources so most of their economy is propped up by wealthy foreigners trying to evade taxation. It would never scale to the population of the USA.

Taiwan and Singapore do not have similar systems of government yet they put up the best fight. South Korea and Japan have similar systems, yet Japan is dropping the ball.
