What's the "threat sensitivity hypothesis"? Is the political right supposed to be more threat sensitive than the left?
Yes, that's what some of the research says, but I'm not sure how well it's replicated.

@JonHaidt seems to me the most likely: Because Social Psych is largely populated by left-wingers, the questionnaires used to assess "threat sensitivity" were heavily biased against right-wingers.
