No it isn't. Italy is trying to take decisive action. The US slashed its pandemic preparedness in 2018 and our leadership is sleep-walking into this crisis.
I can’t imagine what a post coronavirus world is going to look like. The body count alone is going to change the world in ways we can’t comprehend yet.

Indeed. This thing is very infectious and there is no telling how this will spread in the coming weeks and months. Judging the extent of this in other countries given the relative lack of problems up until now is not sensible.
