Still, international coordination gives us early warning, and might allow us to slow the spread elsewhere, which keeps us safer at home, too. Some of the recent funding cuts were unfortunate. Also, how tightly do you want to seal all of the air/land/sea borders?
We should do maximal international coordination, but minimal international travel, IMHO. Fortunately the Internet still works....

For a virus like this, even tight borders leak, at this stage the virus would be coming from all directions. Once it's in exponential secondary infection kicks in, I don't think border control can do much at this point
