I have been writing about Coronavirus for a couple weeks. I'm concerned. 1. Our readers think I'm nuts. 2. The people at church think it's no big deal. 3. Even the medical pros I talked with don't think it's a big deal. Are people overcome with delusion or am I alarmist?

Plenty of blame on all sides for treating a serious global pandemic as if it it's just a sideshow to the US election.

I don’t buy “blame on all sides“ when so much of what’s being said about the US government response is simply counterfactual. A lot of it is numerical nonsense. A lot more is innumerate journalists saying innumerate things.
