I’m a lawyer and after three decades of practice can report that almost without exception courts hate quantitative arguments in general and Bayesian risk updating in particular.
It must then be pretty frustrating to you that Bruno de Finetti, with his Cardinal (oops Saint) Newman argument, saw forensic reasoning as a touchstone.
