Racial bias kills people every single day. It deeply impacts research, education, direct care, and quality of life. Super glad I didn't waste money on a college degree, they don't teach y'all anything.
Even though in the macro racial bias can lead to poorer outcomes and even deaths, that doesn't mean that in this specific situation it will. It may well be a (lamentable) net-positive. Particulars matter.
