The argument isn't "if you don't believe, you have no moral compass" rather the argument is "you don't have an objective standard to base that compass" i.e. your right vs wrong is based on society, upbringing and other subjective means. Hence, Moral Relativism.
How is religion an objective standard, given how many religions there are?
