Nice job! Unbiased review. If one is actually unbiased, then one must conclude based on the current state of the evidence that genetics is not driving the academic achievement gap. It seems some people are (for whatever reasons) wanting a genetic finding that doesn't exist.

I don't have my mind made up about any of this! I just haven't seen any convincing evidence yet that genetics is the main driver of academic achievement disparities among any racial group. Of course I acknowledge the influence of genetics when it comes to individual differences.
